History

Established in 1960, the Anasazi State Park Museum preserves the remnants of the Coombs Village Site, one of the largest Ancestral Puebloan communities west of the Colorado River. Archaeological excavations in the late 1950s unearthed thousands of artifacts, shedding light on the daily lives and culture of the Ancestral Puebloans.
